A multifunctional product effective for up to 3 washes (depending on the type of shampoo used), Federici's Dream Coat Spray has been formulated to leave you with a glossy and smooth finish every time.
According to Gail, “Frizzy hair is really just hair that is dehydrated and dry, with a rough cuticle that doesn’t lay flat.” Color Wow's polymer technology - tiny, lightweight molecules that weigh very little on the strands - aims to address the issue of frizz without the adverse effects of silicone such as product build up. These polymers are activated by heat and tension to form a waterproof barrier on your hair strands.
We got members of our team - with both relaxed and natural curls - to try out the product. Off the bat, they recommended using a more clarifying shampoo for the best results meaning this product works best when your hair isn’t already heavily coated with conditioning agents, silicones or oils which form their own film around your strands.
After a quick wash and condition, divide your towel-dried hair into sections before generously spraying. With products like this distribution is key to getting an even result so following this up with a comb through will distribute the product for best results.

As for our readers with a kinkier curl pattern, you might find this product a bit of a miss when it comes to a lasting hold.
As far as formulation, we can't fault this one. We love the all-in-one aspect of this product and the ease of using a spray bottle. But, at £27 for 200ml we’re inclined to stick with our long-time fave Chi Silk Infusion.
